With 8+ years experience in classrooms and education recruitment. First Hand Education Ltd was founded by a London based school teacher looking to apply his knowledge of the education sector to support schools and their staff.
At First Hand Education, we are experienced in both classroom teaching and education recruitment. Holding 8+ years across both sectors.
Our aim is to apply our knowledge to provide schools with the most cost effective recruitment process and supply them with staff that can add value to their classrooms.
Finding quality staff that fit a schools uniqueness and community is our top priority. If both parties consent, staff are available to transition from temp to perm (no fee) after 12 weeks.

First Hand was founded in 2022 after 6+ years teaching in inner London schools. And a further 2 years working internally with education agencies.
For the past 3+ years we have supported staff to attain 15,000+ days supporting in schools across London.
It would always be a pleasure to visit a school/setting and support or teach for the day.
Visiting a school allows us to get a feel for a schools ethos, structure and values. We can then relay this information when communicating with staff regarding work in your school.
We offer coaching and support for staff that may have spent some time out of the classroom.
We aim to build genuine and open working relationships with the schools and staff we work alongside.
All staff are led through a rigorous compliance process and are met with before being placed. There have been many instances in our career where we have met a candidate and thought, this isn't the right person for this school. Throughout our years working in the education recruitment space we've held an impressive level of consistency, openness and retention with the staff and schools we work with.
Agency work attracts workers looking for more flexibility. We ask all staff if they are looking for full-time or part-time work (a preference we communicate with the school). We do encourage staff to be open to at least 3+ days per week, this is for consistency for both students and the teachers. We pay weekly. We also pay above the average across London.
We are truly trying to support school workers, both with a purpose and an income. Our hope would be that any member of staff we place in a school would appeal as somebody the client would consider taking on permanent. We have supplied a large number of candidates to various clients who have gone permanent.
